    Default unlawful - illegal?

    Its been stated that the charges made by the banks are unlawful.

    However, some people (myself included) are unaware of the difference between unlawful and illegal - would anyone like to shed some light?

    Actually I find it quite annoying when I see the same basic questions coming up on these forums time after time, when the answers are all there in the FAQ
