Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I got a letter stating that the duplicate statements have been ordered for me, also in the letter it said
"With regard to your request for information relating to manual intervention on your account, HBOS plc is under no statutory obligation to record this information and therefore, i am unable to assist further with your request."
Am i right in thinking this means that they have no record of manual intervention?
can anyone help??
That is pretty much a standard reply from the banks because no actual intervention takes place so this can not be used by them to form a defence as to the cost of charges.
