Hi everyone,

I am just about to start chasing a&l for my niece. So sending SAR icon

in the morning.
How are these for replying?

So far i have found Barclays icon

to be the hardest. They take it as far as they can.
Halifax icon

seems to be the fastest.
But that might just be my dealings.

Be ready for the runaround! They won't make it easy, but they cave in the end.

Read round a few of the threads to get a feel for things.

Good luck, you obviously know the format to follow, so just stick to your guns, you'll get there.

Just a quick update.
My niece recieved a letter today saying her SAR icon

cheque had bounced and another charge has been added..!!!!

She had forgot all about this claim. She has so many on the go. Or should i say she has me doing so many at 1 time.

So i have sent another SAR icon

but tweaked it a bit letting them know we are still on countdown.

So hopefully she wont have to wait too long for them. Im hoping they come in 1 go. Its a battle with barclaycard just for the statements.

Oh well, here i go again..!!!

We phoned A&L today as they have taken half of my neices wages in charges. Maybe the guy was having a bad day but he was really rude and unhelpful.

Anyway they have cashed the 2nd cheque sent for the £10 SAR icon

, and re submitted my nieces bounced cheque and cashed that aswell.
When we pointed it out, the response was basically tough!!

We asked if SAR icon

is on the way, and they recon a couple more weeks at least.

Oooh i cant wait to take these on, they are annoying me by the day.
So roll on monday, this is the 40 day deadline...

Ok, i have posted the prelim today as all the statements came today along with printed out ones, which were almost unreadable. They have just sent them in time.

She has had a few more this week, but they havnt sent this months statement yet, so more will be added to the lba icon

posted today. I will file at court on the 27th if still nothing.

Filed at court, and was served yesterday, so they have till the 10th May to respond.

Also my neice recived a letter with a cheque for £300. The letter states this is the difference between her claim and the £12 OFT indicate is reasonable.

So cheque back in an envelope with rejection letter waiting to be posted tomorrow.

Got a letter back from their solicitor, Wragge & Co. Dont know if these are the regular ones.

Just an acknowledgement giving notice of intention to defend.

So we shall see what happens next.

Well they are defending the claim, no surpises there then. Neice only just brought papers round. She didnt think these were important. Bless lol.

Anyway the letter was sent on the 3rd May. The typical 6 page letter.

So just have to sit and wait now to see if aq icon

comes.
Annoying when they just have to pay anyway.!

I have just phoned the court as i still havnt heard anything and i was curious if they were still doing the aq icon

Well they still are, and as the claim is under £1,500 there is no fee, so that will please my niece.

And wouldnt you know my local court is 2 weeks at least behind. Story of my life with them . So it might be a while yet till we recieve it.

We sent the nudge letter last week, and heard nothing.

So the aq icon

was posted yesterday to Wragg. And the courts copy will be handed in today.
We recieved their AQ yesterday. So we wait a while longer, this is the most drawn out case we have had so far!!

Phoned the court today to see if there was any progres, but they just said we had to wait for the court date, so we will wait a bit longer.
