Hi all, What a great site this is and some very interesting claims.
Ive sent 2 dpa letters to the woolwich on the 7th of feb with £20 postal orders they sent the £20 back on 15th feb saying that they will deal with this case, 1 is for an account that is still open with over £1000 in charges.
The other account was closed in oct 2004 this was because of bank charges to my account which led to dds which couldn't be paid due to keep on clearing the charges so when a dd was due to come out it could not be paid then my account was passed over to a DCA so was my loan which im still paying £180 per month and also because of this GE CAPITAL who i paid finance to for a car i bought put theirs over to a DCA and im still paying them £100 per month, If i can claim from them 2 DCA i will do so.
Also debitas = £500 Capital One
alliance leicester £300
Barclaycard £1000 already sent DPA on 7th feb
citicards £600
Hi all, Received letter today about my openplan account usual rubbish except at bottom of letter it says, If i do not hear from you within 8 weeks from the date of this letter i will close my complaint file in accordance with our usual practice. Phoned Barclays, They said it was a misprint and shouldn't have been on the letter.
I guess they figure that a reasonable percentage of letter recipients aren't members of this site, there are bound to be plenty of people who are still scared off by the letters and drop their claim.
Hi all, how do i go about complaining to the ico as have not receiced SAR request? Woolwich delaying tactics i got a letter from them saying the acc was passed over to wescot in 2004 phoned wescot today and they said it was passed back to Barclays in 2005.
HI ALL, Got a letter on Saturday stating my closed openplan acc was passed over to wescot and to ring them about my acc (what a load of boll****) phoned wescot on Saturday and they said the acc was passed back to them in 2005 and gave me a Barclay's ref no, Phoned the woolwich this morning on 01255 477023 customer relations team they gave me another number which i think is customer relations head office number 0800282390 spoke to a guy called Channa he was very helpful? said he would get me my list of charges for 2 accounts out to me in the next couple of days, just have to wait and see.
I am not sure on that one but i am sure someone will tell you.
But dont forget you dont add any interest until you go to court, so you just need to send off the next letter demanding payment otherwise you will take them to court and then ask for interest etc
So i would get the next letter in the post asap.
Then spend time researching the answer to your question as the bank will have 14 days to respond
Caz
excellent babe, now like caz says get the next letter off, i have heard that the contractual interest is quite difficult to deal with but im sure that there will be some one who has done it to help u
Woolwich has made me an offer of £2100 (gesture of goodwill) today, just a bit short by £1700 will be sending them a letter declining offer i want it all
