Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Same way, just modify the templates to refer to credit cards (e.g. late payment charges and overlimit fees rather than fees for bouncing payments or exceeding overdraft limits).
Barclays will probably offer you a part-payment fairly early on (before you need to file a court claim) but probably go to very close to the trial date before making an offer for the rest.
Just be patient, follow the steps exactly and things should go smoothly. If in any doubt post back here and ask - to paraphrase another member it's far better to ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake!
