    Exclamation £5 Charge for using overdraft???

    Hi,

    My mother in law mentione dot me that everytime she goes into her agreed overdrafticon of £200, even if it only £1, she gets charged a £5 overdraft fee everytime as well as interest on it. Is this something that can be claimed back or not?????

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I would like to know this as well... I'm in the process of claiming back my charges and could do with knowing if I can claim this back (I have 6 yearsicon of £5 a month charges as I basically live in my overdrafticon).

    I'm not sure if this is a service charge for using the service or a
    'fine' for being overdrawn.

    Could someone please clarify?

    I believe this to be a service charge and not a penalty.
    I left them all off my claim.

    However if anyone has information to the contrary
    let us all know

    Sounds to me like a legit fee for the use of overdrafticon guys.

    Don't think this one is reclaimable, but someone will soon tell us if I'm wrong.
