Hiya Mark, welcome to the HSBC branch of this wonderful site, there are a few addresses you can use and it doesn’t appear to matter which you do use because it is all sent internally to the right department but customer services seems to be popular and is the one I have used so far;

Thank you both for your quick responce.

Just another quick question, is it HSBC policy to close their customer accounts after a refund. My friend is looking to claim around £20,000 from various accounts over the past 6 years.

Do you think it would be best to spilt each case down to each account rather than adding them all together, in case it goes to court? It might get a bit confusing, any thoughts?

Also i have read that some people have been refunded at the lba stage was this the case for you or are they getting hard now and taking each case to the court stage like Barclays are?

read as many threads as you can mark. people are getting offers at all stages. are all those claims with HSBC? they will close the account if you claim a 2nd time - that's an awful lot of money to be claiming back! someone more experienced will have to advise you on claiming them at the same time.

Thank you for that link i will have a good read. I beleive that all the charges are with HSBC and i think that 2 of the accounts were business. Ill have to check with him.

Hi all,
I have read the links so thanks for that. I have one problem and that is how can i get the statements for the business accounts. They are no closed and statements have been distoried. I beleive that the SAR does not apply to business accounts, where can i find a template letter to resquest these statements?????
