Default unique result from nat west! ** WON **

I started reading all the posts on this site from middle of December, so i knew when i made my claim that it would probably reach the court stage, so i found it totally unbeliveable when after first letter they settled in full and money in my bank within days! I am still not sure why they have as quite a large amount and the usual pattern is that they dont, however it does show that sometimes it can be a very quick process. This is a brief summary of what happened. I sent of my data disclosureicon letter by recorded delivery on Dec 28th, i then received 6 yrsicon complete statements on Jan 18th. I sent of my 1st prelim letter with a spreadsheet of my charges and requesting £2,396.00 plus £724.00 in overdrafticon interest. Total £3,120.00. I sent this by recorded delivery on Jan 21st.I then received letter from Nat West dated Jan 31st saying how sorry they were that i was unhappy etc and then on next page the following "However, having reviewed your case and as a gesture of goodwill and without admission of liability or error, in this instance we are prepared to offer the amount of £3,120.00 paid direct to your account. To accept this offer in Full and finalicon settlement of your complaint please let me know by completing the attached form and returning it to us in thr prepaid envelope provided." I sent form back the same day and money was paid into mt bank account three days later!!!!!!!! I did not get 8% as this is only added on at court stage, but cant think this is why they settled so quick. I am know trying to claim back from purple/ocwen/i group sevicing/ GE Loans, they keep changing their name. I sent of data letter same day as Nat West and they have ignored me so today sending of 7 day letter seeking Court action. I know this is probably the worst company on this site to deal with but i shall not give up!!

no, it did not because i found it quite complicated and for such a small sum i thought it really was not worth it!

    hi
Just wanted to say Congrats on getting all ur money back!

I hadn't even heard of this forum but my friend had been using it. She gave me the first template letter to claim the money back so I sent it, thinking I would have to go through the courts and they settled in full straight away!

I think Natwesticon are giving up the fight now, more and more people are getting all the money they have been charged back quite easily. Don't know why other banks don't follow suit!

Good luck to all you other Natwest claimers!

I have had a similar experience, being offered on Saturday £1,960 in charges (the full amount asked for) after 14 days.

Anyway from comments on other sites, I have been advised to take the money which I intend to do even though I didnt ask for interesticon.

    *So another £1960 won!*

Sounds like Natwesticon are so snowed under with cases they just want to clear them and as a result are paying up quickly. I look forward to the money.
