Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Can anyone help.. I have sent off for all my statements and had the standard reply that they will be sent within the 40 day period.. but after reading the majority of threads i am left doubting they will arrive within that period lol...
Anyway my question is this: I have read a little about people asking for their contract as well as a SAR.. do i need to do this? and what will I need this for? and how do i go about getting it?
Just another question, can i put in a claim for both late payment charges and over limit charges.. sorry to seem thick ... Just want to be sure of what i can put down once my statements arrive..
When you do use the data protection act within your S.A.R. they should sent you all info they have on you including your contract (if you need it?????)
Yes, claim for "overlimit fees" and "late payment fees"; but not "annual running costs" etc
Thankyou so much for your help... I have already sent my SAR so should I now quickly put in for my contract.. or should I ask for that once I have my statements and I am sending my first letter of request for payment?
Right guys, I really could do with your help, I have now been waiting 50 days since my statement request so a few days ago I sent them the "send me my statements or im taking you to court for them letter" lol.. but as yet no reply!
So my question, they have until Tuesday to reply, if they dont, can anyone point me in the right direction of info i need in order to start court proceedings!! what i need etc.. and what i can charge for compensation... (if any!)
