Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am about to start the process of reclaiming bank charges from Lloyds-TSB but I also have a loan through them, unfortunately I am two months behind the payments for this, which they don't seem too phased about but what I need to know is whether, if I start proceedings, they can, and whether they're likely to, cancel the loan and ask for me to pay it back in full?
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me with this one.
Loans are usually handled seperatly from accounts and you can have a loan with lloydstsb without having an account.
But remember if you are behind you will need to contact the loan department and arrange a new repayment plan, otherwise your credit rating will go bad.
Not paying is certainly a reason to call the loan in. So act now!
Otherwise go ahead claiming back the bank charges you have paid in the past and good luck.
