Ex moved out and am trying to recuperate overpayment of council tax
Hi Everyone,
My ex moved out of the house we shared a year ago and I informed the Council regarding the move. They advised that they would recalculate payments and I would get my 25% single person's allowance. They were sending forms in the post.
Admittedly I forgot to complete the forms but have the date of the call I made to the Council Offices - I am also able to supply me exe's address and she is able to confirm when she moved out.
However, today they have advised me that they are not paying me the money owed to me. Can I challenge this?
