Hi im just in the process of filling the MCOL as the time is up for HSBCicon and only had usual Colin Langdale letter saying they are looking into it etc... Im just wondering as i have made two claims with them separtley to date one for personnal and the other is for a joint account. When it comes to MCOl can i put the two claims together total £4490 as it will mean having to pay out just one fee then!!!!!

    Any help appreciated!

Yes you can combine the claims. You will struggle to fit the words on MCOL. As an aside I do not like MCOL, much easier to file the traditional way, i.e. using the N1 form in the post, you can use as many words as you like and attach your schedule of charges with the N1.

Does the £4,490 include interesticon? You just need to be mindful of the potential for allocation to the Fast Track (and the related costs exposure) if your claim is >£5K.

Ok you can combine them as long as you are the sole signatory on the joint account.

i think livelylad means as long as only one signatureicon is required but i'm sure he will tell me if i'm wrong. (otherwise why would it be joint?)
don't discount the idea until we get this clarified.
and also, i believe claims just over the 5K limit have been put in the small claims track

Thats what i thought yes only one signature is required on the account, the claim is for £4200 and with interesticon maybe a little over £5k but as long as it is nelwo £5K before interest i think i should be fine?
Wish theyd have settled as quick as Natwesticon 12 days £4.5k

    Cheers

sorry I did not explain it correctly, as long as you are a signatory on the account then you can combine them, sorry for any confusion.
