    Exclamation Have i made mistake? Signed agreement with company!!

    Hi,

    I found a website on friday offering to recover bank charges for 15% of the recovered monies.

    I printed and signed an agreement and sent off copies of 6 yrsicon bank statements!

    They dont respond to phone callsicon and i am concerned they may be a [problem]!

    They are called "claimyours"

    Can i cancel this agreement and claim by myself?

    Could do with some help or advice

    Hi Dom,
    Yes you can cancell the agreement under the cooling off period law. You are allowed seven days to cancell the agreement.

    So how would i go about doing this?

    They wont respond to calls or e mail

    I am worried if i send it by post they can claim not to have received it and go ahead anyway!

    can you not use recorded delivery?
    you will need to tell them you want your statements back.

    Recorded delivery - good idea!

    The truth is if they were legit i wouldnt mind them having 15% to save me the time of doing it myself!

    My concern is that they are not legit and they have access to my account etc.

    The best thing i can do is write and cancel

    Any suggestions on what i need to say or legal advice?

    i have cancelled the agreement by e mail and post and phoned my bank to advise

    The company responded to my e mail apologising (kind of)

    If they were more responsive earlier then they might still have me as a customer!

    Their loss!
