Went into local branch around the corner from my business to deposit £200.Had a couple of bills to pay that needed to be paid that day.Was approached by staff and told alltough i had cash i had to use dropbox or pay in £250,no less.Explained that i needed in today so could pay bills and told it will clear by 5:30 that day.Explained that that was no use i had to phone companys and they would be shut by this time."sorry cant help" was the reply
Said a few words and stormed out,phoned 24 hr banking and complained.
Not all branches have this rule,but what a bl@*dy stupid rule.
Anything to make life difficult.....
