I've just won back my charges from Halifax so I've decided I should have a go at Barclaycard as well, Whilst being a poor student a few years ago they took a lot of money off me.......so might as well have a go at getting it back......
But I have a few questions.......
1. I have no idea of my account number, can I just submit my S.A.R as normal but obviously give them any relevant address information
2. My Account was closed in 2002, and I was wondering - when is the exact date i can claim back from ? Is it last April, from the date of the S.A.R or other ????
Haliax 5th December - Sent S.A.R 5th January - Received Statements 6th January - Sent Prelim Letter for £1181.50 16th January - Reply recieved - we'll look into it 22nd January - Sent L.B.A 06th Feb - Inital offer of 647 - Refused 07th Feb - Full offer of £1181.50 - Accepted ! 10th Feb - Money in my account ! YES
