Hi everyone.
My wife and I are both disabled and went to Skegness. Could not find a parking space and ended up at a car park. No disabled spaces available so parked in a Pay & Display space and displayed my Blue badge.
Went back to the car and found a parking ticket. Was gobsmacked.
Went home and queried the ticket with East Lindsey D C.
They were not interested.
Since viewing your website, I found the ticket and, hey, the wording is not correct. No "Date of Issue" anywhere.
Does the law cover tickets issued in off road car parks or just street parking.
Just to add, they only give 7 DAYS to get the 50% discount.
If it is issued under the Road Traffic Act 1991, then yes, the date of issue (or contravention) must be present; together with all the other requirements of the Act
