When my wife got a statement from her branch of BarclaysBank in Kettering, there was a debit of £30.00 for 'COMMISSION'.
When I checked the statement, I noticed that one day before her monthly wages were paid in, her overdrafthad gone over the limit by £7.00.
No letter has been received notifying my wife of this over limit, nor had she received any notification about any 'COMMISSION'.
It certainly looks like Barclays have changed the name of their over limit fees/charges to 'COMMISSION' in the hope that no-one will notice!
As my wife did not enter into any contract with Barclays to pay 'COMMISSION', I am sure that they are acting unlawfully.
Has anyone else been charged 'COMMISSION' on their statements?
Having previously gone head to head with Barclays and forced them to repay charges which they unlawfully applied, I warned the manager, Jayne Edwards, at Barclays Kettering branch that I would not tolerate any further unlawful charges of any kind for any reason, I shall now give her the opportunity to repay this immediately or receive a summons!
I am absolutely sick and fed up with being ripped off by these banks and other organizations who wrongly believe they have the right to flout and break the law in order to maximize their already obscenely high profits!
