Like most people I feel intimated by Barclaysicon/Woolwich and their bully boy tactics. I had incurred an embarrassing £10,000 charges over 5 years using 2 account. Barclays offered £7,000 almost immediately and i chose to reject this 'cos with interesticon the claim had become £14,000.
I've pursued court action and much to my amazement they have defended the claim quoting legal jargon which is literally uncomprehensible to me. I have until Monday, 11th June, to file and serve the amended Particulars of Claim; what should I be doing? Can anyone help me to understand exactly what is meant by 'bare denial of liabilty' or doesn't comply worth 'CPR r16.2 or claim to be struck out persuant to CPR r3.4? Any help gratefully received.
