got this from mse so may be helpful here - it is a free gude with multiple tips and hints in plain english on general money ,magement and investments/mortages and so on. Plus it has some interesting articles and interviews. I enjoyed reading the interview with Duncan Bannatyne ( Dragons Den)
it is by Scottish widows but is genuine information and hints and tips - not their products at all.
