Angry tenancy ended, still liable for agent costs?

We have rented out our property for a couple of years now, our most recent tenant has now moved out as we had to sell the property and agreed with her to end the tenancy early, and she moved out end of Jan this year. The original tenancy was until end August this year, and although it has ended and she has moved out and the property has been sold - the Letting Agent as still trying to charge their fees totalling £672 until end of August !

My local Citizens Advice advised me that thay can only do so if it's in our tenancy agreement......which I cannot see......

Has anyone else had any experience of this ?

It has nothing to do with the tenancy agreement, it is all to do with the business terms and conditionsicon you have with the letting agent. What does it state in these about such charges?

I am tenant and have T&Cs in addition to a tenancy agreement. The T&Cs state that I am liable for the commission if the tenancy ends early and for £40 plus VAT for each letter re late rent etc. Are these sustainable in court or, more appropriately, (how?) can I challenge them?

I think we need to see this dreaded agreement.
