Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My Hubby is a Diabetic and has been looked for many years by our local hospital. To day on a 6 monthly check up at the Hosptal he was told he was discharged from the hospital as they no longer look after the care of on going Diabetes patients and that the GP's surgery should now look after him. He is insulin dependant and in the last 4 months when he did make a visit to the GP surgery on a problem with his medication he was on the GP said that he has to go to the hospital as they could not help him.
Does any one else had this sort of treatment!!!! and have the govenment broken there contractual obligation!
The trouble is the government are moving towards care in the community for long standing conditions and are expecting GPs to manage chronic conditions (basically cost cutting). If your GP is saying he can't manage the diabetes contact your PCT and ask them precisely who is responsible for ongoing care?
Thanks for your response, my hubby has already been in touch with the GP surgery and they have said if there is something that if the doctors cannot deal with on his ongoing condition they will refer him back to the hospital.
I do not feel that this is satisfactory to be shynted backwards and forwards.
