Settled claim and now I have received an offer, should I take it as well?
This has happened quite a few times recently so I thought i have to post something about this. If your claim is settled and paid out and you receive a letter offering you money on that claim, please politely write back and state thank you but my claim is settled or write sarcastically that it has been settled. PLEASE do not think about a double win because the bank have given back what is rightfully yours, once.
I would advise the bank to litigate if necessary if you decided to try it on and was paid out a second time for your one claim.
BE THE BETTER PERSON AND DO NOT STOOP TO THAT LEVEL UNLESS YOU ARE NOT THE BETTER PERSON. Furhermore, expect everything you get from the bank if you choose the latter and do not expect sympathy from anyone. I hope this post is clear and unequivocal because I will not post further this advice on anyone else's thread where it occurs.

Totally agreed Nattie. Perhaps a version of the advice could be made sticky as the shambles that the banks are in is creating this situation more and more
