Bank of Scotland have not yet responded to court summons
Hi All
I issued proceedings against Bank of Scotland, the due date at court is 14th feb. 2007, the banks return date is today, I called the court today at 3pm to establish if the bank had responded, and was told that they have not yet responded, but they have till midnight to night to respond.
What are the chances of them responding by then?
How can they respond by midnight, can the respond by email?
What happens if they don`t respond? Like wise if they do?
Re: Bank of Scotland have not yet responded to court summons
Hi Smonty
From personal experience if they have not responded i.e have not lodged an intention to defend the action, then you have automatically won your case. You will probably here from the bank in the near future.
Sometimes they pay the money directly into your account - so keep checking.
Kind Regards
