Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
It appears there are more cases getting very close to court these days, and lots of us have been given court dates. I think it would make sense if we all posted our dates and then PM each other if they are the same.
I know there is the court buddy scheme in place, but not everybody has signed up for it, and I for one would be more than happy to meet someone at court to lend a bit of moral support.
This may go nowhere, but what the heck.
My court date is 14th March 2006 @ Birkenhaed county court 10:00am.
I noticed you have a similar timescale to me. my court date is 8th march court bundle needs to be in by the 15th feb, mine is already served not expecting anything from Abbey.
I have sent other letters / emails to abey but all have been refused. I guess they are far too busy with all those court bundles they must be getting through the post.
It really annoys me that a so called proffessional organisation of this size can continue to behave in such an arrogant applalling manner.
I have booked the day off work in case i need to attend court, b ut cant help wondering how far all this will go.
hi Kenneth, do you feel the same as me, wanting that settlement from Abbey, but secretly (and scarily) wanting my day in court and seeing exactly what Abbey are all about.
The irony in you post 'so called proffessional organisation', is something that will strike a cord with all of us, and I really do wonder if Abbey are so cocky and arogant as they act, or is this just the reality of something that is simply amaturist?
