Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I received a letter from the BOS today stating 'Unfortunately, we cannot process your request because you have not enclosed the £10 fee'
However as per my original Subject access request I stated ' I authorise you to deduct the maximum fee of £10 from my bank account (sort code etc. etc.)'
I have now got myself a postal order for £10, should the clock start ticking again at 40 days or should I quote the original S.A.R - (Subject access request) and keep the original clock ticking?
Awkward lot.
Personally I would keep the clock ticking, as payment was offered at the time, it is not your fault they have not taken it. Send in the postal order anyway.
