Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just a quick note to say that RBS have contacted me today to settle my claim in full (£1554) without going to court.
As i have already started procedings i will lose the £120 it cost to take them to court but thats a small price in my opinion.
I would like to say thanks to all the people who have replied to my posts while doing this and my support donation will be on its way as soon as the cash is back in my bank account.
For information Sandy Watt (seen his name in a few posts) told me that he no longer deals with these claims even though his name still appears on the letters. Email appeared to be the best way to contact anyone at RBS in the end.
Even bigger result, just found out the offer DOES include the extra £120 that i spent taking them to court plus an extra 20 quid!! Maybe they aren't so unreasonable after all plus. LOL
