Default I need so many questions answered !!!

Can anyone help me get started please ?
Any information will be gratefully received.

    1) Are there any circumstances that I could claim for more than six years of excessive charges ?

    2) I have two accounts with Nat West. I estimate I can claim 3800 pounds against my private account and over 5000 from my business account.
What is the best way for me to claim ?
    Do I.........?
    a) Make separate claims
    b) Both together
    c) Do I have to cap my business account to a claim of 5000 pounds?

    3) As a consequence of the banks overcharging many direct debiticon have not been honoured and the payees have subsequently charged up to 35.00 (in some cases) charges. Can I claim these as well ?

I hope someone can assist me.

Some people are doing this but you need to look into it carefully as there is more chance of the banks actually going to court. Find some threads and read up on it, then decide if you're happy to do this.

You do not have to cap claims. The only reason would be to keep the claim in small claims track, aviodign psosible legal costs but this is only an issue if they go to court and win which is highly unlikely. Splitting claims is considered a bad idea as it constitutes abuse of process. You can still try to argue a claim over 5k into the small claims courts.

I'm not sure if they would have to be separate claims for the two accounts or not. Hopefully someone else will answer this for you.

You should claim these late/missed payment charges directly from the other companies. Check if there are sections on the forum for the companies, if not try the 'Other Institutions' section if not. If a company isn't there it doesn't mean you can't claim from them though, just that no-one else has yet.

I hope someone can assist me.
