I have just started court action against Lloyds-tsb last Monday. I am claiming £1300 including court cost and interest. what tricks will LTSB try to make it take as long as possible? Will they turn up at the court?
Hi
My court action only got as far as the allocation questionnaire - which had to be at the court by Feb 3rd........I received the solicitors letter yesterday -3rd offering payment and costs in full. I actually started the whole process at the end of Oct. I am just awaiting the payment!
Keep at it!
bye Jayne

Can I ask why you are bothering with trying to phone them? It really won't make any difference to your claim and Lloyds custmer services aren't the greatest to have to deal with. I think it's much better to stick to the letter writing side of things and wait patiently for your money to get returned.

_______ GOT A COURT DATE? A guide to the later stages
I need some advice. I have just received a letter from the court that ltsb have filed the acknowledgement of service. They have said that they will defend the whole claim WHICH IS £1300. Is this what they usually do?
I ahve begun a claim against ltsb £1300. This included £360 LTSB passed to a debt agency. I need to amend the sum I am claimimg from Ltsb to £900. How do I do this? Will it damage my claim if it ends up in court that I had to take £400 off the amount I was claiming.

Ok firstly please stick to one thread this makes it easier to follow, also why are you removing this cash from your claim?
It would help if you kept relevant posts on one thread.
It doesn't matter that they have passed a debt to a third party. They applied the charges. They must pay them back.
