Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
OK, thus far I have exchanged letters a couple of times after requesting return of £750 for a BUSINESS account. They offered £105 as good will etc. Last phone call (and letter) they said firmly that a business account does not come under the 'Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations' and so despite what I've heard in the media, I can't claim.
I have handed in my N1 to Bodmin county court (details in litigatiion started thread) without reference to UTCCR and citing 'Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co...' & 'Murray v. leisureplay ' in particulars. Also claiming interest at 8% and court fee.
