You will have to file a court claim before they'll pay out, they will then pay out after about 2 weeks, pretty stupid really because they then have to pay your court fees and 8% interest - still, more money for you - good luck!
You have a choice of either completing money claim online (MCOL) or N1 form straight to your county court. I went the N1 route and had an acknowledgement, intention to defend and my cheque all within 2 weeks!
