    Talking HSBC have made offer - WTF!! - HELP!!!

    HSBCicon have made offer cards close to chest at the mo guys not dealt with confidentiality agreement yet.

    Issue I have is that it is quite a bit less than I am claiming for.

    The paragraph says that i can only claim 6 yearsicon back from MCOL submission date. Have yet to read but Mrs Flunky has read it to me.

    What do I do ?

    Answer usually is... except it as a part offer, and carry on with the claim.
    There are many threads about the 6 year rule, and a few different views.
    But the banks seem to pay up.

    Right, thay have offfered claim less £240.00 (costs) which they say i have been refunded but cant see where. Also the claim less charges prior to the 6 year rule.

    How long before they pay if I accept partial offer ?

    Need help on this ASAP. Thanks Guys.

    Flunky, not sure what stage you are at exactly, if you have already filed your MCOL then they will probably defend just before the deadline. Then you will probably receive an aqicon with a 14 day deadline. Offers seem to come in just before deadline. This is a general guideline as to how things are progressing at the moment. They will cave, I got mine on Saturday, just 1 day before the AQ deadline.

    The 6 yearsicon counts from when you actually put in the court claim.
    However, if you stick it out you will get it all, although you might have to drop those first months charges.
