    Default Court date: 9th March!!

    Hi all,

I'm in court on 9th March......has anyone got this far?? What should I expect????

In regards to a 'court bundle' does this mean all of the paperwork/letters etc that I have had and sent to Barclaysicon and court?

    Getting a bit worried now...

hi i am in the same situation, yes the court bundle should include that but also you should include the full bundle zip file you can obtain within this web site. i have a zip file of it if you want, but you can obtain it from this site.

like you am a little nervous, guess its just a waiting game.

Thanks - I've just printed off zip file.

I'm starting to regret ever starting this....I thought Barclaysicon would cave in well before going to court. WHat makes it worse is because I've got 4 seperate accounts with them, I've got 4 seperate court dates!!! So I'll either be an expert or a laughing stock at the end of all this!

Do Barclays ever turn up at court? What happens if they do???

Our court date came through today too - 12th of march. Says at the bottom of my claim form that we dont have to attend and to just let them know a week beforehand, it says the district judge will hear the case in your absence and will take account of any paperwork filed.

Im wondering whether I should send a letter saying heres the date, pay up or pay the full belt of it mateys! Could do with the money Im due in may and have alot to buy yet!! LOL. Will follow the thread with hope!

I havent got a clue about the court bundle eaither, just been having a quick nosey through some of the other peoples threads, it seems there is a ready made one we can download and print off (thankfully!) and then just add in the copies of letters we have sent to the cheeky (edit) such and such's, so Ill have to have a gander about for it shortly.

Yep 3rd baby due May 5th, been waiting for this money to come through so that we can actually buy the stuff we need!!

Have you tried contacting Barclaysicon? Now you have your court date, they know you are serious and 9/10 will settle the full amount!

Barclaysicon usually pay up in the 2 weeks before your court date.you could try phoning and ask them politely if they would like to settle out of court, here is one number 020 7116 5634,give them a ring and ask who is dealing with your claim quoting your claim number, apparently they are quite nice on the phone as long as you are polite with them.
give it a go it's worth a try and you have nothing to lose.
    good luck

Or get your court bundle done and into court with copy to Barclaysicon. Don't forget to add additional costs of getting the bundle together.
Barclays seem to be settling - period. West Yorkshireicon claimers appear to have had their claims setlled last minute before a Mercantile court hearing scheduled for Wed next week.

Maybe we can write a letter to them asking them politely to settle for the full amount, as long as you send a copy of what you have written to the court and let them know it they might cave in! I was thinking of doing this before I set about with the court bundle, give them a chance before I waste my ink and paper like lol! Adrian Ruffhead is my guy.

Hows your court bundle getting together going? I feel completely lost! I have downloaded the court bundle zip file but dont know whether to just print the whole thing off or to delete bits. I personally dont have much of a clue what is relevant to the case and what isnt as its full of statements and jargon to me lol! All I have so far is copies of all our letters sent and the responses given by Barclaysicon!
