Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
A year or so ago I bought a car from Carcraft with finance arranged through Black Horse (part of Lloyds I think). They included PPI without my consent and I think I have a reasonable arguement that it was missold. Who should I go after though, Carcraft or Lloyds?
Hi,
Just from my Experiences... If the Loan and PPI was arranged by Carcraft acting as an Agent for Black Horese, Then you should take the matter up with Carcraft. If you go Direct to Lloyds they will argue that they did not sell you the policy.
I have a similar case where an agent arrangend the loan and PPI, it is the Agent that I am going after as they were the ones that sold the product.
Good Luck
Ian
