Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
As you can see from my date joined and Post Count, I'm new to all this, but have spent the past month reading up on how to claim back charges properly, using the correct templates etc.
I've heard somewhere that Egg can somehow justify their charges through being internet based??? What's all this about? I have, of course, seen plenty of people on these hallowed pages that have won against the oeuf, but wondered if there was any sort of truth to this rumour at all?
Secondly...could I please have a contact address to send my S.A.R - (Subject access request)? Do I use the same template as I have for getting my Halifax claim under way?
Sorry for the (stupid?) questions....hopefully one day I'll be as useful to others as you lot are!
Many thanks in advance,
Phil
Oops, my bad, just found the address in a Sticky at the top here!
Cheers guys!!!! Think I'll get my battle with Halif*cks over first so I don't get in a mess...I'm not the most organised person at the best of times!
I'm also a bit wary about taking them on at the mo as I'm about £50 over my limit and I guess I've been employing the old head in the sand trick...I know, never good...
