Well this is the one that is scaring me

Have sent my prelim to Egg icon

for £280.

Received a speedy reply saying we have done nothing wrong and advising me I have six months to contact an Ombudsman icon

or they will consider the case closed.

Do I wait and send the lba icon

or send it straight away?

There was no mention of an offer or anything - usual games from egg?

Hi Hollydoll,

What date did you send the letter and what date did you receive the reply?

I suppose as they have rejected your first letter, then you can now move on to the next step. As you can show in court that you gave them a chance but they rejected so the fact that they took a few day rejecting it compared to a few weeks dose not matter.

Oops haven't been on here for ages.

I'm not sure of the dates.

Anyway, sent SAR icon

and 2 days later received an offer of £4 per charge totalling £56 with a nice set of forms to fill in and send back.

So I will be waiting until the 14 days are up and off to moneyclaim I go.

Congratulations Hollydoll !!!

As for the confidentiality, that is up to you. Your post is still confidential, as you have not given any person identifying data.

However should you choose to reject the confidentiality part by crossing it out I don't think they will too much of a fuss about it.

But well done anyway !!!!!
