Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I would just like to pass on my congratulations to the individual concerned. You came across as knowledgeable, articulate, and most imporatantly honest.
The Host did his best to argue the banks case, somewhat undermined because they did not come on the show!!, but you got the impression he was fighting a losing battle.
I particularly loved when he asked what if one of the banks does defend a claim. the answer - we would welcome it. Pure class.
If this 'debate' (which was so one sided it was not even funny) could've been anymore perfect I would've liked to see more focus on the bullying tactics used by the banks. We'll never know how many people they have managed to scare off over the years.
I know from working in a building society myself how people implicitly trust banks and building socieites (with certain things), and I think it only right that th disgracful way they've been treating people comes to light.
It is quite worrying, now we have people here to help us, how many of the rules and laws banks are supposed to comply with they misinterpret or simply fail to follow.
