Just sent of my S.A.R today recorded delivery, from what ive read about barclaycard they seem to be a bit slow in sending statements, well we will just have to wait and see what happens. Im sure i have lots of charges to claim as i had 3 accounts going back to 2001. Keep you all posted!
they are one of the worst for responses but you will get there in the end! good luck

I have rcvd a letter from barclaycard today saying that they cannot find info on one of the accounts i had requested statements for, saying that as it is a closed account they cannot find the info. I have phoned them up and spoke to someone who has told me he has sent out my statements today for another 2 accounts i am claiming for but he cannot find the details of the one that is missing. I find this amusing as the other 2 were closed prior to this. He has then given me a tel no for data protection 01604 254518 which goes to an answer phone, when i asked him if this number was a dept in barclaycard he told me no!, but he also said that they would be able to locate the missing statements for the one account that they cannot find. Has any one had this before and how can they have my statement detail if they are not part of barclaycard? I know that they have to retain all info for 6 years but i couldnt get any sense out of him.
I have filed 3 mcol against barclaycard and on the last day they filed in a defence on all 3. Do they tend to pay up before court date is set, or do they go the whole way and let you send in your court bundle e.t.c, many thanks
