A week after I accepted £255 as a goodwill gesture as partial settlement of my claim (they credited it to my account) and sent Barclaycard a lba for the remainder of the claim, I have today received a letter from them stating that they have reviewed my account and as a result they are reducing my credit limit by £250. In effect wiping out the £255 partial settlement. Stinks of retaliatory action to me.
