    Question Miscalculated charges Help

Well not a miscalculation as such more of a major balls up, hope someone can help, ive sent my lbaicon and received a reply from Sandy Watt giving me the usual jargon that alot of you seem to have had, and now i'm due to go ahead with all the court proceedings but i have just realised that i have included my Royalties charges in my claim is this going to throw a spanner in the works? , i'm just worried that if i go to court it might get thrown out due to this, hope someone can cheer me up with some good news. Cheers

You can always just claim for the amount in the charges and take out the fees for the royalties account? My mum claimed against BOSicon and had included one charge from outwith the 6 year period, BOS got in touch and told her they'd give her the full amount minus the one charge. The courts would accept the claim with the fees on it, but the Bank of course would notice and wouldn't pay that bit. Maybe they'd even go to court for that claim? Either way, best to submit your claim without the fees on it.

An accepted method of correcting this type of mistake is to re-issue your prelim and lbaicon. Puts you back 14-28 days, but at least you caught it early.

Don't know whether KH's method is risky or not, but it sounds to me like you would be giving them grounds for striking...imo
