    ohh God, Egg and Citi are in my opinion the two worst companies in terms of paying up and accepting customer requests, now they are one!!!!!

    well let's hope they land up wth eggi on their faces, then i'll go & have a ciggi. Yikes - do you think this will double the nastiness? If they combine all the nasties at Eggicon with all the nasties at Citi it will get EggCiting!

    However I do not like the sound of the following comment:-

    George Awad, of Citigroup’s consumer group, said the bank had more experience than Pru in dealing with defaulting borrowers.

    No doubt there will be the usual chaos involved when one company buys another.
    It will be interesting to see how well they cope with loads of claims and the extra adminicon work to work with Citi.

    I think the reason why Citigrou phave said they are better at handling defaulting borrowers is that Eggicon seem to default much more than other companies. I was threatened with one after missing one payment! I think because they force you to pay by DD they can do this.
