hi
i have just found this site ,i have sent 3 letters to a&l
1) for list of charges-they replied within 2 weeks full list supplied
2)request for repayment of all charges inc. 8% interest £4878
answered no
3) again requested repayment + interest or court action
answered no
the problem is i used the template letters supplied by which magazine Welcome to Which?
these do not advise to send a schedule before court action so i have not sent them a break down of charges just the total +interest.
the question is should i send them another final ,final letter listing the schedule or just go for the court action as i have already done everything to timescale.
also i have also included the daily od charges of £3.50 that they used to do years ago.
sorry if these have already been asked ,as i said i have just found this site.
You have done everything to the timescales up to now and to be honest another letter won't make any difference, you have to file a court claim before they pay out so go ahead and do it.
You will send in a spreadsheet for your claim so they will have a copy, they usually acknowledge, say they will defend and then pay up. They will also close your account afterwards so be prepared.
Have a read of the A&L success threads for more info.
