Bit of a newbie on here just taking on A&L and First Direct at the same time
Sent the usual statement request with £10 to A&L....got a full response today offering to credit my credit card £570 and enclosed a print of my statements....the toal charges is £1012
They state that this is a Full and final offer...i've read that there is a letter somewhere accepting the money as an interim payment
has anyone else gone thru a similar process.....i didnt even ask them for a figure they just offered it straight away!!!!!!!!
do i just accept the figure or do i say credit my account and give me the rest?
Have had the exact same experience with A+L credit card (MBNA). Sent a rejection letter to their offer with a full prelim letter and scedule of charges today, having called them and got nowhere. Lets see how it goes!
after sending off rejection letter i noticed that my account had been credited with £570 (the original offer) before I had even recd the offer letter!!!
waited 1 month and then out of the blue A&L coughed for the rest and gave me another £504......RESULT!!!!
