Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
It has only dawned on me that I too could be claiming back my unfair bank charges (I am recently debt free, but only recently read up on the whole "Claiming back bank charges" thing.. but thought that since I had settled my debt with the bank that I had no way of getting the charges back?).
I have just requested the past 6 years worth of statements for £10, so will have to plough through them when they come through my letter box - ouch!!
I know that I was being charged around £100 a month - can I claim ALL charges back (obviously minus the £5 for the "special" account I had)? Or does it have to be over the threshold of £12? I have found a copy of the letter & the spreadsheet, but just needed to know what I could fairly try and claim back as didnt want to take the p***!!
