Progress has been slow to begin with but it's now picking up speed. There have been quite a few successes reported but I imagine that there are a lot more that aren't because they are asking for confidentiality agreements to be signed. For £100 a few letters and some research isn't much to ask for. We are all here to guide you and offer moral support as well so go for it!

No you don't need to worry about them, they are something that Egg will ask you to sign when they offer to settle out of court. We would advise not doing so as I believe it will also mean you can not claim in the future.
Your first step is to send out the SAR request with the £10 mandatory payment. There's a template in the bank templates forum. I strongly advise that you read through the FAC's so you are confident in what you are doing and why you are doing it. If you have any further questions we are all here to advise.
Thanks allot. I have had 2 successfull claims with my Halifax Bank account & Visa Card - Visa account paid up after 2 letters & Bank account I took court action with & they gave in !
I have already sent the 1st leter & the lba to Egg, this was back in Nov but due to being so busy have not had time to issue them court proceedings.
I wrote to them yesterday to say that I still intend on going through the court to reclaim this money -
I am slightly worried now tho - I have read people are actually having to attend court now.. scares me a little !!
