Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
RBS have responded very quickly and efficiently to my SAR. I have clocked up my charges and I'm surprised to finf they total just over £2000. I have included their interest rate of 17.85%. Could someone clarify if we can claim the maintenance fee back, I have some charges of just £5 but they mount up and it was my £5 in the first place.
If you are referring to the account charge i.e for a royalties account etc then you cannot claim them back as you signed to agree to that specific amount to handle your account and have the 'benefits'.
Hope this clarifies things
