I am just starting to research a personal claim against Alliance and Leicester bank . In error just went over the overdraft limit a small amount and was charged £34.00 for failed direct debit which then had a knock on effect for another DD due the next day before I could transfer money from another bank account. Before I know it I have £90 charges.
Then I think about times this has happpened before and I have been angry - but just sort things out and let it go.So I am sending a first letter requesting details of charges for last 6 years.It also annoys me that it takes so long to transfer monies between banks when you do become aware of the problem.
I would be interested to hear how other people have got on with claims against Alliance and Leicester bank.
