Well, i sent off my SAR on 22nd Dec by recorded delivery. Arrived 27th dec. I am giving them until the 9th of feb for a reply. Ive read through all the material and since im in scotland i contacted the local Sheriff Court. They were extremely helpful and have given me loads of information on claiming in scotland. They also said that no action has ever gone to court.
good luck junglescot, dont be surprised if the alliance and leicester are late with your statement tho coz they have been with lots of people, just keep hounding them before your deadline and you will get them.
well i phoned the A&L and the nice person from the call centre in leeds said they were indeed processing my account, I asked her to confirm that the SAR cheque was cashed on the 2nd January. She asked if she could help me with anything else, i said why dont you give me the money now, she laughed.
