I was knocked off my motor bike in august 06. The third party accepted all liability, my motor bike was paid for. However leathers and other items have not been paid for there has been a solicitor on the case since the accident but i still havent seen the money.

every week the insurance says they are sending a cheque out ans the last time i was told i am in breach of contract because only the solicitor should be speaking to the insurance company

i have asked the solicitor to send this to a small claims court but he hasnt lifted a finger, any help would much be appreciated

has your own solicitor been appointed by your motor bike insurer? if so, get on the phone to your motor bike insurer and make a complaint to them. However, another way of claiming would be to check your Home Insurance policy. If you have additional cover for personal possessions, your leathers, helmet, gloves etc should be covered under this policy. You could claim against your personal possessions policy and your home insurer will pursue recovery of their outlay against the third party.

Watch Sky TV and ring one of the no win no fee solicitors - sack the other one!

They may and try make you claim for the bruises etc you suffered but they will be only to happy to issue on your behalf and it should cost you a penny!

Does it have to be done by solicitor? Is this not something that beefish could do himself?
