Well here I am, I didn't quite belive my ears "claim back all your unfair bank charges" !!! but here i am getting ready to send my letter before action.
Must admit untill this point I seemed a little unsure.....but I am very thankfull for friends bringing it to my attention. I have about 6,000 owing in charges, we had just starrted out just over 6 yrs ago and wasn't so clever as we are nowdays with our money.
Looking forward to see what they have to say now be expecting a nice donation coming your way if we win.....
Question, has anyone actually been to court yet with RBS??? I'm sure there are threads but tbh I don't really have that much time to read up on these.
If you send a private message to one of the mods they will merge both your threads for you ... just click on their user name & there will be an option to 'send private message' ... it's kinda like e-mail!
Some mods actually don't accept PM's but it will tell you if that's the case

Firstly they recived our letter on the 20th December, not the 22nd! ( I do special delivery you see and now what date is on the letter!!!)
Secondly today is 18th January 2007, and the letter is dated 9th January 2007. Were has it been ??
Thirdly, which banana boat do they think we have got off ???? We sent our letter before action on the 15th Jan !!! Think they have panicked and post dated the letter personally!!!!
So they have still got 14 days and counting from the 15th Jan untill we take the next step!!!! They better get moving hehehe
Lot's of us have had identical letter (except dates) from Sandy Watt (YTS - very keen - here's a big pile of letters, answer them) reference CHGS and on a first-name basis.
Generally speaking the letter refers to a letter you haven't written (or on a date you didn't write it - if you get my drift.)
Maybe this a new tactic whereby the bank intends to claim institutional insanity as a defence.

My letter quoted the wrong date also ... good eh
Stick to your deadline as these letters are obviously not worth the paper they were written on .... deffo giving some young trainee to do rather than photocopying & making coffee anyway!

A young anorexic girl I used to work with told us there was one calorie in a stamp! Thank heavens for the invention of the self adhesive stuff eh ... sooner have a choccie bar meself!
