With Barclaycard Mastercard SAR sent last year, then the Prelim letter, followed by lba, had an offer of £220, which was rejected, took action against them (MCOL) with last day being 1st Jan 2007. Canny bunch acknowledged on the 29th Dec giving them a further 14 days. Today, I believe is the last day for defence or admission, tommorow morning judgement by default .
Gold Card slightly behind, although in all correspondence they lumped all together including settlement offer.
Oh and one more thing! The microfishe thingy, didn't send anything prior to 2004, as with all cases, I estimated it HUGELY in my favour
This morning I have entered a request for judgement by default, as I have heard nothing . It has been accepted and have given Barclaycard one week to pay up. Why does this feel to easy, is it going to come back and bite me?
I knew it! I just checked on MCOL how it was progressing and...........Barclaycard intend to defend the whole claim, strange thing is it now says DEFENCE 13/12/06. How is this possible? Thats before the acknowledgement date 0f 29/12/06. Its being transferred to a local court . Is it time to panic yet?
And so today defence pops through the letter box, usual standard fare including aq form. About to fill all items in and take to local court, what a huge pain in the .
